 I'm excited to be working with Hard Rock Cafe to produce a whole year's worth of First Friday Comedy Showcases! Not only that, but these shows placed 3rd in the 2017 Anchorage Press Picks for Best First Friday Venue/Event, and that's after doing only a handful of them!  This year marked a lot of change with the Quick Freeze Film Competition growing to become the 5-Day Film Royal. One thing that hasn't changed is how much I love organizing this event with such wonderful friends and getting to put together the annual behind-the-scenes documentary. Visiting the teams and watching them work is always inspiring and a great reminder of what I love about being a filmmaker. Congratulations to all the participants, both old and new.
